How to Get KOs in Crossroads

Goal of this guide

A KO (knock-out / elimination) is the core score fantasy of Crossroads. Whether you want Hunt stage progress for the Tower hat or personal pride on Place 1818, you need reliable ways to finish players — not just tag them with Paintball. This page focuses on practical KO patterns using the tier list meta: Rocket and Superball first, Sword and Slingshot next.

Crossroads KO farming guide

Mindset for FFA eliminations

Crossroads is free-for-all with up to eight fighters. Ideal KOs come from:

1. Third-partying — hit people already fighting
2. Splash — punish stacks on bridges and stairs
3. Finishes — Superball or Sword the wounded runner
4. Resetting — beacon heal on one color, then re-enter

Do not tunnel a single duel while two others free-hit you. Disengage, re-peek, convert.

Route A — Castle splash farm

Blackrock Castle funnels players onto battlements and bridges.

1. Grab Rocket near Castle spawns when possible.
2. Hold an angle where you see the bridge, not where you stand on it.
3. Aim at feet or the bridge floor for splash.
4. If a survivor sprints inside, swap Sword — do not rocket a closet.
5. Reset with a safe beacon, return for the next wave.

Castle is excellent during Hunt crowds because tourists cluster on recognizable landmarks.

Route B — Temple mid-range picks

Lost Temple offers stairs and sightlines.

1. Take height with Superball + Slingshot.
2. Chip with Slingshot, finish with Superball bounces.
3. Rocket the stair stack if three players collide.
4. Watch for destructible openings that create new sniper lanes mid-fight.

Route C — Den sword converts

Thieves’ Den punishes explosives.

1. Enter with Sword readiness.
2. Use Bomb on the doorway behind you if someone follows.
3. Force 1v1s; avoid being the third body in a tiny room.
4. Drag wounded opponents toward slightly more open Den exits for a cleaner finish if other fighters might steal — or accept FFA chaos.

Route D — Tower trampoline chaos

The Tower trampoline creates vertical mayhem. Rockets and balls behave wildly; swords are awkward mid-air.

1. Fight the landing zones more than the apex.
2. Splash groups waiting under the trampoline.
3. Do not waste time building elaborate Trowel forts during Hunt timers.
4. If the KO counter only needs one more, patience at the landing pad beats flashy mid-air misses.

Hunt-specific KO notes

For The Hunt: Roblox 20 (Sep 17–28, 2026), complete Builderman + hub badges first. Use the full icon route on Hub Badge Locations, then return here (overview also on Tower guide).

Farm Crossroads KOs until the on-screen counter completes. Majority consensus is 3 KOs (Beebom, Sportskeeda, TechWiser, many transcripts); some articles say 4. The counter wins arguments. Rocket splash remains the fastest tool when Hunt tourists stack on Castle bridges.

Confirm you are in the official Crossroads place instance tied to the event — private joke places and Corrupted Crossroads do not advance Hunt.

Mechanics that steal your KOs

• Beacon suicide — second different color pad (Beacons)
• Self-splash — rocket in melee range
• Steal finishes — another player tags your almost-kill (still fine for Hunt if you got credit; watch your counter)
• Empty servers — fewer targets; hop instances if allowed
• Script bans — not worth it; see Scripts

Practice drills (10 minutes)

1. Splash only: two lives using solely Rocket aiming at terrain.
2. Bounce only: two lives attempting Superball caroms near Temple.
3. Sword clean: two lives denying rocket greed in Den.
4. Review Controls if swaps feel clumsy.

After you can KO consistently

Specialize with a playstyle on Players, refine weapon tech on Weapons, and keep Guides Hub bookmarked. For hat claiming after the counter fills, return to Crossroads Tower. If you still need hub icons, open Hub Badge Locations before another Crossroads hop.
